Mike Kessler

Mike – a local resident to Comstock Township – joined the department to serve the community. Prior to joining the department, Mike attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College for a Fire Science Degree. He was also a graduating member of the City of Kalamazoo Fire Academy to operate as a fire fighter and medical first responder.

One of Mike’s strong influencers to join the department was the Fire Chief of the Boyne City Fire Department; Lineous (Butch) Erber.
