Mike Flick, I

Mike Flick I joined the Comstock Fire Department in 2014, and currently serves as a full-time Lieutenant. His brother and son are also firefighters.

Mike joined out of a desire to help others in their time of need. He had made contact with other members of the Comstock Fire Department and found them to be a well-trained group of people. He received training in Firefighter 1 and 2, as well as MFR.

In addition to many standard duties, Mike also helps the community as a car seat tech and an installer of smoke alarms. He also helps educate school-aged children on what to do in case of a fire.

Mike is grateful to the officers who have graciously given him advice over the years. He is also grateful to his wife for being so understanding of his job’s demands and the sacrifices she has made to allow him to perform his duties well.
