Kevin Thompson

Kevin Thompson joined the Comstock Fire Department with little fanfare. He was inspired by his father, who had been a firefighter for more than 40 years, and his grandfather who served as a police officer in Kalamazoo.

It took a few years of service, Thompson believes, for him to fully understand the magnitude of the job. Every day is a chance to make a positive impact on those who live in and visit Comstock Township, and they are all counting on you when the time comes.

Thompson joined in 2007, and now serves as a full-time Captain/Training Officer in the CFD. He also serves on the executive board of the Cuff and Ladder Fund, a non-profit organization that supports first responders during their own times of need.
