Doug McLiechey

Doug McLiechey joined the Comstock Fire Department in May 2010. He currently serves as a full-time Lieutenant and an EMT.

Doug finds worth in helping his community and overcoming the challenges they face. He is committed to rising up against stressful situations with his team whenever called upon.

Along with his duties as an EMT, Doug also serves as a training officer for new hires. He is also a technician for the Kalamazoo County Haz-Mat Team and a member of the 5th District Technical Rescue Team.

Off-duty, Doug is a gearhead who enjoys riding motorcycles and building race cars. He also enjoys scuba diving, sightseeing, and spending time with his family.
