Ben Doorlag

Ben has always had a passion to serve the community and Comstock Fire Department offered him the perfect opportunity to do that. He first went through Medical First Responder Academy and Fire Academy on his journey to joining the department. Being a part of the department is a family commitment. We’re a tight-knit group that has each other’s back to jointly care for and serve our community.

While off-duty, Ben likes to travel with his family; particularly camping in Northern Michigan. For warmer trips, they frequent the Florida Keys.
